stake

The Stake feature allows users to deposit their SCRT or sSCRT in exchange of seSCRT. The amount is transfered from the user's wallet to the validator.

Users can start staking their secret coins on the Stake page. The Stake page displays the following information:

  1. TVL : This is the total amount of SCRT locked so far on stakeeasy.
  2. APY : This is the annual percentage yield.
  3. Balances : This section displays all the balances in the user's account. This includes seSCRT, SCRT/sSCRT, Unstaking seSCRT and Claimable amount
  4. Stake/Unstake interface : This is the main interface of the Stakeeasy app which allows users to perform transactions in and out of their accounts.

Staking SCRT/sSCRT​

An image Once the user is on the Stake page, he/she can perform transactions by interacting with the Stake/Unstake interface. For performing a stake transaction, the user needs to follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Stake SCRT tab.
  2. From the toggle switch just below the tab, choose between SCRT or sSCRT according to your staking preference.
  3. Enter the amount you want to stake in the input box labeled as "Stake". For staking all the amount you have in your account, click on the max button. You can also use the slider input to input fractions of your balance. (Note: When staking SCRT, clicking on Max button will fill 1 less than your balance into the input field.)
  4. As you enter the amount you will see the corresponding exchange value in the adjacent field labeled as "Receive". This displays the value you will be receiving as seSCRT according to the current exchange value.
  5. Click on the Stake SCRT / Stake sSCRT button, depending upon the coin selected, to start the transaction.
  6. A Keplr wallet modal will appear after few seconds of processing. Select the gas fee and Approve the request to complete the transaction.
